	Kitty Kare provides daily or twice daily visits to your home to care for your cats.
	When you go away on holiday your cats can still remain in their own comfortable familiar environment, sleep in their usual place, be fed in their usual place and maintain their usual routines, thus avoiding unnecessary stress.
	A typical visit lasts approximately 30 minutes but can be adjusted to meet individual needs.
	The minimum visit schedule is one visit per day.  This is because any less than that is not good for your cat.  Please do not ask for a visit every other day.  Although the food might last that long, cats need regular human interaction and can become upset if left alone for more than 24 hours.
	Your cats will be fed, given fresh water, have their litter tray cleaned and last but not least they will be given lots of cuddles and individual attention.
	Cats need human interaction on a daily basis.  Kitty Kare visits regularly each day so that cats very soon become accustomed to the routine.  We quickly develop a relationship with your cats and usually find that even the most shy, timid cats begin to appreciate the attention given to them.
	Any special requirements, such as grooming, administering medication etc can normally be catered for and should be detailed on the contract form and discussed at the introductory visit.
	If your cat is on any medication then the visits can be arranged so that the treatment routine is maintained.  We can care for cats on all forms of medication including injectables such as insulin for diabetics
	Kitty Kare will make sure that all is well with your home and your cats every day that you are away.
	Kitty Kare specialises in the care of cats, and, (with the exception of some small creatures such as hamsters and fish) unfortunately cannot cater for dogs, rabbits or other pets.

 

Service Agreement:  If you decide to employ Kitty Kare, you will first need to complete our Service Agreement.  This provides us with details of your cats' needs, as well as your emergency contact number, vet's address etc.  Please supply us with as much detail as possible about your cats.

 

Introductory Visit:  If you are interested in our service please contact us to arrange an introductory visit.  We will arrange to come and visit you, to meet you and your cats, so that we can discuss your requirements.  Please inform us of any problems or concerns you may have and of any special requests.  Please try to make sure that your cats are available for us to meet and have the house keys ready to hand over to us.   There is no charge for this visit.

You can then enjoy your holiday knowing that your cats will be well cared for.
